Why We Chose the Name "Juno"
When establishing our law firm, we wanted a name that was meaningful and reflected the values that guide our work with families.
In Roman mythology, Juno was the queen of the gods and the goddess of marriage, childbirth and family. She is known as the Roman equivalent of the Greek goddess, Hera.
Juno was often depicted as a regal, majestic and powerful figure, symbolising the sanctity of marriage and serving as the protector of women and families. In Roman tradition, she represented strength, dignity and the importance of family life, and was also associated with love and fertility.
Her influence extended beyond the household. Juno was also regarded as a guardian of the Roman state, believed to protect the city of Rome and its people. As a result, she came to symbolise protection, stability and prosperity for the wider community.
The name Juno reflects the values that guide our practise: protecting families, supporting individuals through significant life transitions, and promoting strength, dignity and security during challenging times.
